Hello Readers, welcome back to my blog.
Happy Christmas eve to all my readers.
I have missed reading Nalini Singh’s books and I can’t wait to get caught up to date on all her series.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
SUMMARY
Sailor Bishop has only one goal for his future – to create a successful landscaping business. No distractions allowed. Then he comes face-to-face and lips-to-lips with a woman ho blushes like an innocent . . . and kisses like pure sin.
Isa Rain craves a man who will cherish her, aches to create a loving family of her own. Trading steamy kisses with a hot gardener in a parking lot? Not the way to true love. Then a deal with the devil (aka her CEO-mother) makes Isa a corporate VP for the summer. Her main task? Working with a certain hot gardener.
And Sailor Bishop has wickedness on his mind.
As Isa starts to fall for a man who makes her want to throttle and pounce on him at the same time, she knows she has to choose – play it safe and steady, or risk all her dreams and hope Sailor doesn’t destroy her heart.

Isalind Rain is the daughter of two calculating brilliant CEOs, who could care less for their daughter unless it was to their advantage. She always takes a back seat to their business empires. Isa doesn’t want this kind of family in her future. She wants to create a loving solid foundation for her siblings and a safe haven for herself. Sailor Bishop is a delicious temptation for Isa but he is younger and focused on his business goals which makes Isa think that he is not the one she can build her future with.
Sailor Bishop wants to prove that he is nothing like his biological father so he has set a goal for his future. But when he meets Isa, he is willing to be distracted from his goal because the feeling he has when he is with her is worth fighting for. Will he be able to convince Isa to take a chance on him despite the obstacles? E.g. he is younger, she has more money than he does and he witnessed a humiliating incident when she was younger?
Nalini Singh is a romance writing genius to me; whether it is paranormal or contemporary romance, her writing style is just amazing. The usual plot of a couple getting together and then a difference pulls them apart for an opportunity to learn how much they mean to each other can get tedious at times. I loved the fact that Sailor and Isa never had to go through this process of break up to make up.
Although, like most couples Isa and Sailor had to learn to trust each other and hold on to each other, they didn’t have to break up and go their separate ways to find out they were meant for each other. They found each other and held on despite their insecurities and their ambitions. It was a story that reflected a process a large percentage of relationships go though where we find someone we are attracted to.
I gave this story 4 out of 5 stars because everything was beautifully done in this story and if it was a paranormal or fantasy romance it would have had the extra star because that appeals to me personally as a reader. If you are a contemporary romance reader then this story will sing to you and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
